Default Wireing and vacuum question

While, replacing front brake lines, I found a green wire near the alternator, and brake pressure switch that has power to it, when the key is on, and don"t know where it attaches to. It appears as if it broke off a terminal connecter. Where is it supposed to attach to?? And the vacuum line that lifts the windshield wiper cowl, is off. Where is that supposed to go? It is attached at the canister but where does the other end attach to???

I think that green wire attches to the temp sender on the side of the block. Look at the drivers side of the engine below the front two spark plugs.

For the wiper cowl, go to www.willcoxcorvette.com. they have downloadable diagrams there for free for all the vacuum lines. Someone on here also has free wiring diagrams. Just search "wiring diagrams" and it will come up.
