1981 muffler replace
Have 1981 46,000 miles looking to change muffler only,
other than stock, not much you can do with 190 hp
magnaflor or flowmaster or need help on decision

both mufflers are a good choice .my choice is the magnaflow .now would be a good time to replace the cat .the cat that you have was not good in 81 .the ones they have now are a lot better .

I have the Magnaflows, straight duals front to back no cat as my state does not test; they are really quiet, almost too quiet for a corvette.
They are brand new, I'm kind of wishing I had the Flowmaster 40's for a little meaner sound.
