Default need hedders, got question

I would like block hugger style hedders that I can unbolt factory cast exhaust and bolt in place without modification or welding new exhaust.

Does anyone know a company that make such?

thanks

yep....those are a little more than I expected....

I might have to use them or just bite the bullet and do complete exhaust...wasn't really wanting to do it right now though.

Thanks

If you can find some exhaust manifolds from an '81 or '82, they will bolt up to a stock exhaust, won't they?

Long tube headers and true dual exhaust = 50 horsepower.

Summit headers $110.00
4-90's at $7.00 each
4-45's at 7.00 each
2- 6 foot lengths of tubing $12.00

$190.00 Total........ If you can weld

$300.00 to have a complete system installed.

I liked my Summit headers so well I bought a second set for my 75 Chevy 4x4 pickup.

Rams horn style manifolds are generally a good design, and scavenge well, especially for the street. The problem with them is imprecise and small passages. Speedway Motors, www.speedwaymotors.com, has produced new, more flowing design rams horns that have larger and more precise passages. They are available in stainless and can be polished.

Slip fit.

The whole process was really pretty simple.

Tack it together take it out and weld it.

Some wire weld it but I prefer gas welding. That is with metal rod.
Haven't had good luck brazing exhaust it usually cracks and breaks.

Is this a guess or do you have some evidence to the contrary?

I have several sources.

It is a large number isn't it?

It's not just the long tube headers.
True dual 2 1/2" exhaust and no Cat.

I've seen this in a couple of C3 posts with the stock heads.
