Granted up until a few days ago I didn't realize that GM used a power steering pulley with a smooth surface, I still think you'll have a rather hard time finding a water pump pulley with grooves. I don't recall ever seeing anything like that in the realm of GM. It's possible you'll find one from another domestic car maker's parts bin and you might even have luck from something from across the water. As long as it's a wide serpentine belt and you can modify it to fit the water pump you'd be in business.

I'd have to go along with that, GM serp belt setups always seem to spin the waterpump the other way. I'm pretty sure I have seen pics of custom serp setups where the waterpump pulley had ribs, tho, so it's doable somehow.
Looking good if you can find that pulley and get the bracket machined looks like it will work fin! Just wondering why you went with the C4 setup is there any benefit to it over the fbody setup? I got my aluminum brackets, pulleys and factory bolts off of an 89 IROC-Z at pick-n-pull for like $65! Then new accessories, under drive pulley and fbody water pump and it bolted together perfect with plenty of clearance!!
I came across a good deal on the '89 setup with the alt, compressor, tensioner, all the brackets and even the smog pump. I had been reading on here that the setup i was looking at fit no problem so that's why I went that route.
On my last junkyard trip I was kinda focused on the different tensioner setups and other brackets that I didn't even look at the pulleys on the the camaro and firebird i pulled brackets and tensioners off of.
Here's a pulley I'm looking at online but for $95 and me having to powder coat it... I have seen them for $30 ish too. Looks like another excuse to get back to the junkyard and pay a little more attention, or bring a shopping list...

Where were you back in 2009? I went with an '87 corvette serp belt because, 1.) it was free, (can't beat that) and 2.) I asked on this forum if the F-body serp belt setup would fit under my '80 'vette hood, and nobody seemed to know. Didn't wanna chance it. Oh, well, water under the bridge, now.
OP, do you have the tensioner that came with the 'vette serp belt brackets? I am wondering if I could just use the one I already have.
Also, where can I find the 35 dollar pulley in your last post? That looks exactly like what I'm looking for!
Well can't pass up a really good deal, like free lol!!
Junk yard shopping trips are fun, they had a few serpentine setups there and at $65 i went ahead and bought three of them. Cleaned them up and got around $200 for each for them on ebay, paid for new a/c compressor!!

Dude, the Scottish part of me smiles just from hearing stuff like that!
