Default ceramic boot spark plug cables

Please recommend what ceramic boot spark plug cables that will fit my 1980 C3...The last ones I purchased didn't fit in properly (wouldn't snap in) and I don't want to go through that again.

If possible, please link me to product page or provide part number.

Thanks,
Ivan

Ceramic spark plug boots? Dude, I don't even know what you're talking about. Why would you want ceramic spark plug boots?

Jacobs used to make them but i think they closed. not really necessary the boots used on wires are pretty good but you need to buy a good set.

Did the prior ones not connect properly to the spark plugs or did they not fit between your header tubes? I'm assuming you want ceramic because you've been burning regular wires with headers. If that's the case I've been using Jacobs ceramic boots for many years on my 2 problem plugs-

In combination with heat resistant sleeves like these-

Before that I was burning wires/boots quickly but since then I haven't had a single problem.

Accel makes them also.

I bought a set but went with the shorter header plugs and I think I will be all right. Seemed like decent quality wires and looks like they could take the heat.

If my boots start showing any damage I will install them.

I was burning through at least a set of spark plug wires a year ("good" wires too, not cheap ones). I switched to Jacobs 90 degree ceramic boot wire three years ago with no problems whatsoever. I didn't know Jacobs went out of business. Too bad. I hope the Accel's are still available if/when I ever need to replace the Jacobs wires.

My problem too- #1 and 3, with 2-1/8" header tubes the boots will fry in a heartbeat. Right now I've got them wrapped with like 4 layers of different types of heat shielding so they are hanging in there.
Jacobs is out, but ACCEL has the ones like Summit and Jeg's- I checked today- Summit was $10 more than the local shop here in California. Where I am right now.

I'm running the Accel 9002C wires on my big block with 115 deg boots. No problems so far

Been there, done that. Here are the parts I used. I cut the wires to length.

I'm using the Accel ceramics as well. I had no choice as I was going through other high temp boots on a regular basis. I was told that Accel acquired Jacobs (or at least acquired the ceramic boot design). I've had zero problems since the switch.

I installed a custom set of Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm wires with 16 of those 2-wire MSD wire clips. I restored and reused all of the OEM 8mm wire loom brackets (at the rear of the engine, OEM metal shields on the underside of the engine and the 2-wire OEM clips below the spark plugs). With this setup I have had ZERO burnt wires and I run Hedman Jet-Hot coated Hedders since around 2001. All clips and mounting points are snug and the wires do not move around.
