Default Mechanical Advance
I have a HEI distributor from a 79 Vette. Does anyone know what the mechanical advance degree is and at what RPM it is in full advance?

it's listed in the back of the 79 factory manual but you can determine what it is with a dial back timing light. The springs would be very stiff and total wouldnt come in till the 4k to 5k range.
