Default LS1 Relay

Guys, I know that there is a sticky on LS1 swaps, and I have read pretty much the whole thing. I've been collecting parts for the swap on my '74 Vette, but have always wanted to ask this question; what relays/fuses are a must have for the swap, and how did you guys go about wiring them up? I want to do my own wiring, and don't want to spend $600 for this. I have a '00 SS Automatic Camaro that would be the donor car.

The Fbody harness is said to be one of the best to make a custom harness out of, LS1tech.com has some threads on it.

So one for the fuel pump, fan, but is the water pump relay only if you have an electric water pump? For the other three relays, I just locate those pins on the harness and plug them to those relays?

I've looked throughout a bunch of threads, but my question still went unanswered. I pretty much have the fuel system down for the swap. The plates, I already have an idea of what I would use. For now, I would probably run the 4spd Muncie while I locate a T56.

The connector labels (C101, etc) are from the 2001 F-body wiring diagram. The relay I have labeled as Water Pump is also the Fan1 circuit in the wiring. I ended up using Fan1 for the electric fan and deleting Fan2 since I only have 1 fan and no AC. I wired the electric water pump to always run with the key on as recommended by Meziere.

It really is just a matter of locating the wires in the harness and connecting them to the relays.

Thank you Rick. I'm going to make sure I save a copy of this diagram, which is very helpful. This part of the wiring that confused me the most, but this truly has been lots of help.
