Default Pitman Arm Difference
I put power steering in my 68 vette but did not change the pitman arm. It seems to drive OK so what could possibly happen. I have aquired a power steering arm but don't know if I need to change it. Is it dangerous to drive ?

think it has to do with getting full lock to lock turning radius

Yes, When you go to full lock to one side, it binds and will jerk the wheel and lock up. You can overcome it, but its not safe.

You need to change it. Install the power steering arm.
