Borrowed a spring compressor today so I could get the front suspension together. When I had attached the control arms I wasn't sure which upper control arm belonged to which side. I have a service manual and an AIM, but neither had a clear picture. So I just matched the curve of the arms with the cutouts in the inner fenders.
Now I'm starting to second guess my decision. Did I put my control arms on backwards? Pictures are of the driver's side.
I THINK you're good, but the angle of your pics makes things look off!
Had this pic handy from my for sale thread. Passenger side. Notice with the car sitting level, the forward side of the control arm is higher and the ball joint is pretty much horizontal.
I'll take an actual look later tonite.
Thanks! That was what I was hoping to hear. The sping compressor was a pain to set up with the springs out, I didn't want to have to try and feed them back in.
