sending unit modification
Wanting to add TBI to my 71, I was thinking of modifying the fuel sender mounting plate to accept the futting used to supply the electrical connection for an internal fuel pump. Then mount the pump inside the stock tank and use the existing fuel line connection. I have a return on side of the tank I can use for the return line. Any thoughts on this? Im trying to find the easiest to mount an internal fuel pump without modding the origional tank. Plus not real happy about drilling into a gas tank.......
