need help with center dash removal
i plan to remove my center dask and install a new one in my 1980 vettes, but the problem is that i am totally newbie in mechanic. also i want to check the wires under the main dash console because of i suspect there are wires being cut that continue create problems with my electrico. i am tired paying others to do the job but still have problems. i want to install a manual door window in my vette, is that possible?

Why go backwards? Power windows were standard on the 80 models.
If you intend to begin doing your own work, my advice would be to purchase the assembly instruction manual (AIM) and the GM chassis service manual before you do anything further. Read through each after they arrive and you will have valuable background information for what you might want to do.

Great Advise from Easy Mike, Also most Vendors sell a large Readable, 1980 Corvette Chassis Wiring diagram, By Lectric Limited. Be sure to learn how to properly do wire connections, & test all. Have a Great & Safe, Memorial Day. Gene
