Default Hydro boost help

Hello forum memberes.I need the Hydro folks to help me out, I have looked at the install schematics and i seem to be confused. The boost unit has 3 ports. D/S high pressure,P/S high pressure, and a low pressure return.I have installed a serpentine system from a late mod chevy truck.Power steering pump has two ports. One fixed metal tube high up on the pump and one threaded port lower on the pump.
The power control valve has two ports. am I correct in that the D/S Short line goes to the threaded lower port on the pump, the P/Side long line goes to the 1st port from the d/s on the power control valve?
that leaves the second port on the control valve, the return and the "t" fitting. thats where i get lost. is the upper port on the pump the return and does it tee into the second port furthest from the d/s on th control valve? all the pics i've seen are not clear on the return section. Can someone help? pics allways appreciated. Thank's Steve.

Is the ps pump from the truck set up for a remote tank?
Are you just using the brakes or power steering too?

There should be lots of pics in a search here.

Pressure out from the pump to the HB
Pressure out of the HB to the pressure in of the steering valve
Return out of the steering valve to the pump tank
Return out of the HB to the pump tank.

I wouldn't tee the returns.
Reason why I asked about the remote tank is because you said the return on the pump was at the top and that is only if it uses a remote tank. The pump port host and remote tank all become the tank.

Post a pick of your pump and you should get an appropriate answer.
