Default 79' Air Cleaner question?

Hey all, this is probaby a stupid question but i've searched high and low and can't find anything! So I figured i'd ask here. I want to replace the factory air cleaner and intake tubes with just a round filter. No what do I do with the carb heater and ThermAC lines? Also is there any specific brand of filter recommended? Thank you.

I use K&N on all my vehicles. Great filter and it lasts forever.

That's a step backwards for performance. Your car presently has a cold air induction system, the 'round filter' sucks in hot under hood air.

Yup, definitely agree with "Mike", as I've gone through lots of trouble on other cars ducting in fresh air before the hot radiator. If anything, maybe get rid of the heat riser damper, and block off the hot air source. An open element, will be lots noisier too.
