Default Heater fan switch

Need to get cooling system functioning properly and my blower only
runs on HIGH speed. Is my problem with the switch or is it in
fan motor? Is there a resistor block located in concel? Steve

Check the plug that goes to your blower motor. It's on the passenger side corner at the firewall, right on top. When mine was unplugged it only worked on High also. Good luck.

The resistor block is located at the front of your heater blower box. Not very expensive.

Mounted on the firewall near the heater resister is the high blower relay.
When it fails the fan will either only work on high speed or the lower three
speeds. Suspect this is your problem. The relays are readily available
at many parts stores.

Hey Mark,
I worked on it Friday nite after reading about what to look for.
The first thing I did was pull plugs off relay and check voltage.
It's a 5 wire plug and one is 12 vts. Jumped from it to another
wire until fan ran. It then ran on 3 speeds but not high. I
figured it was the culprit. I'll pick one up asap. Found it in
Ecklers for 13 bucks, will try local shops. Steve
