Am I screwed, alignment?
LF camber -.7 RF camber -.6 I ask to change to -.5
castor 3.84 3.74 I ask for as much as possible
toe in .25 degrees .29 degrees which is like in less than 1/16th
The specific range on the printout is 0-1.5 pos.
So he set it down as low as he could at -.2 and wanted me to bend the frame out to get that positive value
Then the after castor is 2.5 on both sides
I'm going back tomorrow.
The problem that owners of older cars, such as C-3s, face, is that a lot of the techs today have never had to align a car that uses shims, rather than eccentrics, to set the caster/camber. They're used to simply loosening a nut, and turning the eccentric until...BINGO... the alignment machine's screen lights up "green". In your case, the guy didn't understand that he had to ADD shims, to pull in the a-arm, to ADD negative camber....

98% of mechanics have no idea what caster or camber actually is and how they relate to higher performance handling, they are just "set the toe and let her go" robots obeying the magical mystery machine...If you like the "feel" of the car with those settings,I would just drive it and move on to your next task.
