On my "73" the rear calipers have inner and outer bleeders. My Haynes manual says that only the 77 and later models had inner and outer bleeders in the rear. I am assuming that someone replaced my original rear calipers with those from a 77 or later model year. This shouldnt cause any problems should it? Like some kind of proportioning problem or something due to the any differences therye might be between the earlier and later model calipers?

If brakes are working fine now, I wouldn't worry about it. To the best of my knowledge, the same 'volume' calipers were used on the C3 line. Anyway, in the worst case if an adjustment/fix is needed: inst orig style calipers or inst adj proportioning valve to rear. Be just as concerned about the 'rotor' runout on frt and rear. This will save many a headache! Good Luck -Rod :chevy
