Default What does this engine seril number mean? NB2
I was looking at this http://www.vettefacts.com/C3/1973.aspx
"CWT 454-cid 275-hp V-8 8.5:1 4-speed Manual with NB2 Four-Barrel"

My Block is marked CWT but I have no idea what NB2 stands for.
Any ideas what NB2 means?

I think your right. I found an old post about a different year vette but they said it was Ca. Emission stuff. Funny thing is the car was bought new in NJ 3,000miles away from Ca.

RPO NB2 (California emissions) was essentially not available as an 'option' in 1973 as it was automatically included when ordering a car for that state.
