Here's a video we took of our vette lighting up her tires! The thing is though, the file is 6 megs! I captured some more video and got them to under a meg each (using a different encoder) but none of my friends were able to play them (they didn't have the codec). So this 6 meg file is using Microsoft's mpeg encoder which seems to play on everyone's computer. Can anyone recommend a program/encoder to capture video? Also, anyone know of a decent free web-hosting site with 10+ megs of free space? Thanks in advance!
DOH! Looks like I have to find another free webhosting service AND try to make the file smaller. I'm trying some other encoders as we speak so I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the interest though!
It is from Tripod so the bandwidth is probably still limited so get them while they are hot! I can email these files (all 4 are a total of 2.5megs) to those who want.
I just snagged the videos and added them to my "hopeully" growing list of cool shark movies, hope you don't mind :D. Here's a link; http://www.c3sharktank.com/sound/sound1.html
AC: The exhaust is a custom made 2 3/4 exhaust from Nasa Racing (the guys who did our restoration). I call it "Moe's Special". We have Hooker headers (3 1/2 inch with 2 inch pipes). Honestly, of all the car shows and Corvettes I've seen...I have never heard one with a sound like ours!
C3 Shark Tank: That's really cool! I'll add a link on my website to the C3 Shar Tank home page!
Thanks for checking out the video! Once the mechanic changes the squirters/jets we're going to be making some serious videos hehe.
Corey 68: We haven't had it dynoed yet, but Desktop Dyno gives results that are almost bang on what our mechanic estimated. Oh yeah, after about 2700 RPM you better hold on to your wig hehe.
Just a thought about the hosting side of your post...do you also have free internet dial up? If you are using a conventional local co. to connect to the internet that you pay a monthly fee for they give you space for a home page on their server and file space usually pertains to others using the bandwidth to see your files and not how large "your" file is. There are some great products available to make the file smaller data wise.. I am a newbie here at the forum and our 73 will be delivered in the next 10 days..I come from the horse world and we take lots of video and post on our web sites. :)
