Who hates rivets?

Anyone know any tricks for removing the rivets on the lower ball joints?? The uppers were easy. The lowers do not want to break lose. I really dont want to drill too deep or a make a hole that is too big. What is the correct size bit to be drilling with?? thanks

Use a cold chisel and a 5 lb hammer. You cut the head off then use a punch to drive out the rivet...

didnt have rivets on the bottom of the 78 but on top used dremil with cutting wheel to cut off heads them drilled out with 3/8 drill bit for new bolts

Get a punch and :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: the **** out of them. You will see that they will eventually collapse and go through. Just be carefull not to screw up the hole.....
