69 electric wiper door
Here are a few pics, (please post for me) of my electric wiper door.
After many posts here and alot of help I decided to try it a different way.
I used a gear reduction motor that came out of a moto mirror, its small enough to fit inside the wiper compartment, I had some gears laying around and with some mods it works great. I used a rocker switch for the door and the wiper switch and the door limit are original. I used a 77 wiper motor, "easier wiring" and 3 relays to control things.
Its wired so the wipers will not come on unless the door is open and when the wipers are on the door can not close.
I would like to thank Garys68 for the original relay wiring and his thoughts but I did not want a linear actuator sticking out the front.
I still have to touch up on hiding some wires and make a aluminum cover plate to hide the vacuum canister holes.
