I have 2.625" on the rears and 2.75" on the fronts. I did move the E-brake bracket for the rears. Its very tight on the rear but they will fit.

I always felt that the rear tires were a little on the short side so the last set of tires I opted for a little more side wall. The 295's are 26.2" tall and the 285's are 27.1" tall, almost back to factory.

After reading a good number of posts here on the forum I've come to realize that each car is a little different when it comes to body position and frame clearances.

Wow! Really dig the stance and the wheels. Who knew BMW pattern works on an american icon. OR did you have to use adapters or re drill rotors to make things work. Very nice.

bemmers and vettes are close enough to interchange as far as bolt pattern, the offsets are where you need the adapters, with C4's they usually are a direct bolt on, again depending on back spacing.

I went back to the Boss 338. But this time I went with Nitto 255/45/18 and this tire fills the wheel well better. I had 245/40/18 before and was never satisfied with ride .

I have a set of SLP wheels.
They are made especially for C3's.
No adapters, relocate the brake cable and go.
They are a close fit and I believe would of been better as 18" wheels but they work and I really like the look.
245/45/17's
