Hi guys,
this is my first post. i have just recently bought my first corvette which is an amazing car however i have i few teething problems which i would like to get sorted right away. my wipers have started to collide with each other and i noticed the drivers side wiper appears to have come slightly off its connection at the base. how i do i remove or re-attach the wiper arm at the base ?? can i just pulll it off ?
thanks in advance for any help
Hi A,
FIRST POST!!!! Welcome!
You MUST tell us a bit about your car and post a picture or two.
Along with Mel's advice you may want to look for the small tool that's available to aid in removing the wiper arm from the transmision shaft. It depresses the prong that retains the arm to the shaft.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan
There is a tool for removing wiper arms; worth the cost. The release tab can otherwise be hard to get to. The assembly instruction manual (AIM) explains how the arms were set and adjusted on the assembly lne.
Congrats on the 78.
