headlight switch

I am replacing the driver side dash pad in my 76 . Can some one tell me how the head light switch comes out how does the **** come off i see no set screw does it pull and unscrew

On the top of the switch there should be a spring loaded push button (small) Push in and pull. The **** and stem will come out. Will reassemble the same way. Just push it in and it will lock in place.
