Anyone know if the 4th gen Camaro SS (ZR-1 stlyle) 17" wheels will fit on a C3? I think they have a different offfset than the C4 vette wheels. I know the C4 wheels will fit with a spacer. Anyone know which spacer to use? Here is a pic of the Camaro wheels.
Pull a wheel off, put it face down. Put a straight edge across the diameter of the WHEEL (NOT TIRE). Measure down from the bottom of the straight edge to the inner face of wheel (the portion that would contact the brake disc hat). This is the wheel's backspace.
C3's have a 4 inch backspace. Subtract 4 inches from amount measured on the Camero wheel. This is the height of the adapter ((DO NOT USE SPACERS) you will need. Vette Brakes sells adapters, as do many other companies. Google them or look on ebay.
