HORRIBLE!
My friend Jon is 52, and has been a hotrodder his whole life. He's got a BEAUTIFUL '62 impala SS with a 427, dynoed at 535hp, BEAUTIFUL car. Last week he started it up, ran inside to get his smokes and it slipped into gear and droved itself off a cliff, he was getting ready to repaint it for hot august nights. he cried for three days. i hope insurance covers it.

Those are very cool cars...sure hate to see that happen.
I had a car pop out of gear once and came out and found it in the neighbors yard across the street...only minor damage. It poped out of reverse and rolled down the driveway. It was only a work car Honda...so it wasn't a big deal...just glad it didn't hit someone or another car.
But after that I'm always a little paranoid now...and usually block the tire on the vette if I'm not in it...when letting it warm up...I'd much more distressed over it as I'm sure your friend with the cool old impala was! :cry
