Default Thinking crate motor for my 72 vert

I love my #'s matching vert, but do like the idea of putting the original engine on a stand and going with a crate motor for 150 more hp.

So my question is, if I go with something like a Yearone CT350PC1 (link below). What can I re-use from the stock set up. I'd like to save money and keep it looking stock, but I want tire melting hp on tap

https://yearone.com/Product/DisplayProduct/347706

Can I use most everything from my stock engine? Such as...
Qjet Carb?
Distributor? Calls for "melonized gear" I'm not familiar with that material treatment.
Exhaust manifolds
pulleys
bracketry
A/C

What can't I re-use?

Thanks
DC

I also have a 72 vert and understand completely on the extra horsepower. The only thing I see that may be a problem is the intake manifold. This may cause hood clearance issues. You may also want to check the accessory bolt pattern on the front of the heads to see if they are the same as your stock heads so your stock accessories will bolt up without modifications. Keep us up to date on your decision. Sounds like a great engine and price.

That engine looks pretty good, and can't say I'm familiar with the term melonized either. Do know it's recommended using a bronze dizzy gear for performance use though. Never hurts shopping around, as recently got an e-mail from Speedway Motors on their Blue Print line of crate engines, and carry a 30 month/50K mile warranty. Their $3500 383 looks pretty good as has aluminum heads. Once again, the intake may be a bit tall for hood clearance, but think you can delete it. For storing an old engine, I usually put it on a rolling cradle, stick a piece of plywood on it, and use it for a shelf.

I have the same engine in a 74 with the cowl induction hood. The intake with the carb will fit with a drop base air cleaner, I don't think it will work with stock air cleaner (not sure). The pulleys and ac will work but I put a vintage air system in mine and still used the stock pulleys. The melonized gear is required because it has a roller cam, it can be bought from Summit and just replace the old gear. Talk about waking the car up, this engine for the money is a very good performer.
