Engine experts--enjoy reading and learning about rebuilding options from CF members, but a full understanding is a long way away.
My question is, will these heads work on my original block? Also, from the ad, is there a question I should be asking? From the pic--not provided here, the heads look new.
As advertised:
71-75 Corvette 350/400 202 double hump heads with new valves and springs. Head casting # 330545.
My car is a 1969--350, 4 speed, with 3:36 rear end. Purposed as a weekend driver with no intention to race. Like quick acceleration from stop and good deals on parts.
I believe those heads have the 76cc combustion chambers. You will lose compression by installing them, if your present heads have 64cc combustion chambers, which they probably do. Can you lift a valve cover and tell us the casting number of the heads presently on your engine?
