I want to replace the slip yoke at the back of my ST10 4 speed because the seal is leaking. I noticed some very slight grooves in the slip yoke (that might be causing the leak). I will replace the seal as well.
Slip Yokes don't seem to be as offered for sale by some of the vendors (not so common). The places that do stock them offer them anywhere from $99 to $199...
I noticed that there is a guy on ebay that advertises "rebuilding your slip yoke" for $99. anyone tried this service?
Are there some that should be avoided (china made)?
Not exactly sure what is rebuildable on a Corvette slip-yoke. Typically the "rebuildable" slip yokes are on trucks with fixed input/output shafts on the transfer cases. In this case, the driveshaft has to slip.
