New today. 1973-1982 Wiper Motor Testing.
moved to the top post...
Thanks for all these great how to's! They've helped me out quite a bit. Couple ideas for videos:
1) How to install the center instrument cluster bezel into car with AC (without damaging anything!)
(2) Installing and adjusting door glass and T-top weatherstrips
(3) Repair of fiber optic cables
Bluedawg- I'm sorry this can not be a sticky.. rules are rules and this portion of the forum is sponsored by another vendor. If this thread were to become open for sponsorship I'll do it and then we can get it made a sticky..
Paul... That sucks.. We just did a installation.. it never dawned on me to video it.. I did post some pictures on our facebook page though.
I'm glad these are helpful to you everyone. I have two more quick videos to post up tonight or tomorrow on testing a power window motor relay and looking inside a 78-82 fuel tank..
Fiber optic repair is tricky. First you must realize that it matters not how good the repair is, you'll still lose brightness in the light from a repair. To repair, you have to cut the ends flat, then make sure you butt the two ends together and then use heat shrink tubing. The trick is to heat the heat shrink with a blow drier vs. a small torch and holding the two halves together while you do this.. Not a hard fix a all.
I have a write up on my page about how to install the dash pad on a 68-77 and in this it walks you through how to install/remove the center dash bezel. I'll add this one to the list though.
Thank you all..

Power window relay testing 1968-1978 Not the best quality but we were in a hurry on this due to a customers questions. We'll do this one over again when we get some free time.
Here is the diagram to use.

It shouldn't matter that you don't sponsor thus section, this is truly help full material and even if you don't sponsor this section, it should go as a sticky or maybe the sponsor should put together this kind of material and make a sticky.
