Manual vs Auto Q-Jet
The conversion went well and the car seems to run great.
While doing some other research I saw that there is a difference in the carb for a manual vs automatic.
A post from Lars read: "Difference between AT and MT carbs is in the throttle arm configuration (for kickdown linkage), vacuum port for modulator on AT carbs, and occasionally a slight jetting difference."
My question is.... after the trans swap, I don't believe they did anything to the carb and was wondering if there is any downside to running a manual transmission with an "auto" q-jet?
Do I need to change the configuration of the carb? Should I get some new linkage?
Thanks for any info...

(You might double check you're still getting wide open throttle with the pedal. Who knows if the bracket got tweaked)
The secondary airvalve tension/choke pull off may be a bit different as an auto remains under more consistent load during shifts, but it's likely not necessary to mess with it.
If the carb has never been fine tuned, odds are it's just as much off now as it was before.
The linkage on the automatic carbs is additional, so there's no reason to worry about it unless you're stressing out over a few ounces of metal.
