Headlight warning light / switch adj?

Headlight warning light / switch adj?
The switch is not coming into contact with the arm causing the interior warning light to stay on. I've disconnected the switch but would like to know if there is an easy way to adjust the arm to make contact. The bucket fits into the body nicely so I'm hoping the answer is not to muck with those alignment items to make it work.
Any ideas, thoughts?

Thanks for the reply 69. The issue is the stop on the arm is not coming in contact with the switch. It is about an 1/8" away when fully open. I tried angling the switch but it's simply not close enough to work. My fear is I need to adjust the entire assy and since it fits the body nicely as is I'm hoping there is another solution besides adding some material to the stop.

Hi pr,
On the door mechanism on one side of my 71 I bonded a tiny piece of hard rubber (from a 3M Squeegee) to the 'arm' that pushes the button on the switch.
With out it, the switch worked sometimes, but not others. Bubba!?

Alan,
I've seen the pics of your car and headlight in doing my search on this topic and it's amazing. for some reason knowing that you also had to add some material makes me feel better about the easy fix, ie adding some material to the stop.
