Default History about -75 from LA

I'm discussing about buying -75 which has been brought to Finland from LA about two years ago. Originally the has been L-48 + TH400 (not 100% sure about the tranny...) Original colour was bright blue and the interior was originally silver, as it still is, mostly... The engine is not original, I don't have the casting numbers here now, but it is 010 block anyway.

Now the colour is metal blue as can be seen from the pictures. I suppose the car is painted about 10 years ago in USA. The interior is littlebit modified, also done about the same time with painting. Part of the seats are blue and the floor mats are also dark blue. In -75 the silver interior included grey mats, am I right?

I don't like so much about the wheels and the car needs also lot of other minor things, but it seems to be very solid and easy project.

Does anybody know anything about this cars history? I don't have the VIN-code, but I think there hasn't been too many blue/silver corvettes sold in -75...

Thanks!

The corvette letters on the rear bumper cover are NOT for a 75. The 75 had the letters in a spread arrangement. I think that is the 74 or 76 bumper cover. Go to my web site and I think you can see the letters on my rear bumper cover. Other than that it looks good.

Paul you are right the letters are not original -75, I bet there is lot of other things also which are not original. For example the door panels are from the car which don't have electric windows, you can see the amber luminous tag where should be the cam to open the window...

There is also lot of other small things that needs restoration. Biggest thing is that the paint has few strange flaws, obviously their have been there since the car was repainted. The backlight lenses have few cracks etc... Also somebody has been having fun with saw, the radioplace is cutted to fit newer style radio... The engine compartment is the most mess, well it's not exactly a mess, but it needs some work...
