71 windshield wiper door problem

71 windshield wiper door problem
When i start car , wiper door comes up and when i shut ignition off door does not go down. Wiper switch is off and override switch is off. What do i look for?

OK< you probably have a vacuum line off somewhere under the dash, that mans you have no vacuum to the controll relay, ever....so the spring inside the vacuum relay keeps the door open....keeping that sideof the canister motor under vacuum....
it's a controll issue, allmost bet on it....
gotta trace the lines, but take short cut and do the uncomfortable and check under dash first....flashlight helps...it's a pain in the butt...
