I'm looking at getting new coil over springs and shocks. I'd like to lower the ride of the car to reduce the gap over the wheels. I'm running the stock 15's now, but am going to 18's in the near future. What all do you guys recommend? 550 lb springs, and Bilstein Sport Shocks? If yall could post links, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
First we have to know the intended use. Better street performance? Are you going to time trial the car? Race it? It will make a difference in what people recommend.
As pointed out by OldAlaskaMan above, what is in the picture will not fit your car and it even states below the picture it is an approximate, which in this case is not even close. Below is the same part number with the correct picture

The more importance you place on handling and trackday performance, the more homework I'd suggest doing before spending much money. There's a bit more to it than simply changing tires, springs and shocks.
What is the gap now? I have a small block car that has the a/c removed and aluminum heads. The gap was huge in front and back. I just installed the 550# springs from wilcox and it dropped the front 1.5 in.
I changed the rear spring to a vb&p 360# spring and have koni shocks set on 5. To me, there is nothing harsh about the ride quality. I do have stock size tires. I have read that this is close to the gymkahana or fe7 upgrade option.

I have this kit. Works good. The springs are 550lb. If you lower the car too much you will bottom out the shocks. I cut the lower shock mounts off the control arms and welded new tabs that were about half an inch longer and angled them down about 1 inch for additional shock travel. What a difference in ride quality.
