L82 Cam
Has anybody used the stock L82 cam with the performer RPM intake? I have a brand new one sitting in the closet, and was thinking of dropping it in the '74 and replace that anchor of an intake manifold that's on there now. This would be just till I get the things ready for the LSX swap.

If your going through the trouble of changing cams I would use the GM-151 cam which is a real good hydraulic cam rather then a L-82......I think Donny Blass uses one....and he`s bumping 12`s.....

You may notice a little performance gain with the Edelbrock Performer, but doubt it'll be much. Keep in mind, many aftermarket manifolds, are really just recreations of the better factory designs. Since you're talking about an engine swap, I'd just leave everything alone, and sell your parts as new.
