Default Relocating Parking Brake Brackets - rear control arm

I would like to start running some wider drag radials on the back of my '74. It seems the parking brake cable brackets are the first thing in the way. I know some folks have moved them, what's the typical new location? Anyone have any pictures or other suggestions? And how wide can I go with just that mod?
Thanks,
Jeff

I moved mine to behind the rotors, where they belonged n the first place...
and I also moved the shroud brackets outward on the cross member, all the way to the frame rails, and tilted them slightly to accomodate the shroud...
I also added a large flat washer with small hole in the edge to lower shock mounts and a spring around the cable shroud to that washer, just to make damn sure it never rubs the rubber....can't STAND rubbing the rubber....;-)))

as any rate that buys enough to mount a 9.5 inch wide wheel....and I have 2.75 rubber on it....some guys may make it wider yet with offset T arms....I should have bought them, but overlooked that possibility....maybe next life....

mrvette,
I'm not quite following your description. Can you post a pic?
Thanks,
Wil
