I've used the supplied ones and Mr. Gasket. One trick is to soak them in warm water for 10 minutes to soften them and create a better seal. Recheck the bolts after a few hundred miles. When tightening start with the center bolts and work your way out to the ends. Check them at least once a year depending on how much your drive.
I've always had good luck with Mr Gasket Ultra Seals. They look similar to standard paper gaskets, but actually a different material, with a metal wire mesh in them. Never had any of these blow out, and won't break the bank.
went through this.... blew out many of gaskets.... but never ever this one.... it is about 4 or so layers of stainless steel plates set on top one-another. bolts loosen... retighten, and you good to go.... http://mr-gasket.com/mls-exh-gskt-sb-chev-squ-760.html

Felpro is all I ever use, never had a problem with them, not expensive
If the block surface is flat and the exhaust flange is flat and the holes are the same size I really don't see how you blow exhaust gaskets out, what is blocking the pipe to make the exhaust blow through the gasket ?

It is because the bolts back out a little from all of the heat up and cool down. Then it is less resistance to blow by the gasket, than to push down the pipe an through the muffler. If left long enough, the gasket burns. Like I said above, invest in locking bolts or tighten them every time you think about it.

Makes sense, I never really had that problem and I just use ordinary inexpensive header bolts, must be lucky, I have found a couple loose over the years but I just tighten them up because the rest of them are tight, Felpro has a metal instert, between the gasket material maybe that helps

Can you get different port sizes, I got what looks to be the same style with my custom headers only made in one piece I thought it was a cheapo and used the blue Flepro 1405
Felpro's steel core on top and Mr. Gasket aluminum at the collector. No leaks at all. Tighten them all up again after your first heat cycle and again after a 100 miles or so and you're good.
