76 auto-shift lock system removal

76 auto-shift lock system removal
I have a 76 automatic and I am trying to remove the shifter so I can replace the two shifter slip seals... BUT I have an Anti Theft Key Lock on the top of the shifter. I cannot figure out how to remove it. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

This image shows the entire shifter. The top silver part has a key hole in the top.

This image shows how the key fits into the top of the shifter (to lock and unlock the shifter, you turn the key position).
