Default Rear Light(s) Issues

Ok, here's what I have going on with my '76:

Hazard - right only works
Turn signal - rt works, left no
headlight - left ony
headlight with turn signal - rt works, left has headlight only (no turn signal)
brakes - rt works, left no
brakes with headlight - rt works, left no
brakes, headlight, & turn
turn left - no (headlight only)
turn right - yes, but VERY SLOWLY

***have also noticed right turn signal is slow and weak (dim)***

Fuses (at least above left knee in drivers seat are all good. All front end and dash light work as they should while performing tests. FYI . . . the right rear light socket has been replaced by previous owner (named bubba). Not sure if his "instillation" could be contributing to my headache.

Thanks in advance for any assistance/experience/general knowledge you might be able to impart.
Mike

Check grounds. Also, check to make sure the correct bulbs are in place and working.

Go over bubba's wiring to see what is going on there. It may or may not be a problem but it can't hurt to have a look.

Thanks for the reply 1986coupe. Bulbs are correct and have been tested (they work fine). Bubbas wiring looks good. For turn signal it wouldn't be the flasher since 1 of the lights is working, or is my thinking incorrect? Ground seems like a likely suspect. Might seem like a very rookie quetion (because I am), but am i correct in simply following the ground wire from light socket until it establishes ground somewhere, or am i backwards on my logic? Thanks for the help to all!

It sounds like a ground issue. Check the ground going into the back of the rear light. It might not be getting a good connection. Unplug it and look into the back of the light where the wire plugs in. Make sure it has a good connection. There also should be a ground wire under the drivers rear side. Make sure it's connection is good!
