Intake Manifold R&R Question--
I read in another thread someone who said to put RTV on the intake manifold bolts to keep the oil from migrating up the threads. Makes sense to me. Someone else said to put antiseize on the bolts if you have an aluminum manifold. Also makes sense. My question is, how in the world do you do both?

Heres what I did: I didnt do anything till a bolt started showing an oil leak, and most of them didnt. When one did "puddle' oil, I pulled it out and RTV'd it....problem solved....just make sure your RTV or whatever you use doesnt have any type of "Lock-Tite" additive in it and you'll be fine. :cool:
