Speedo Gear Selection

Changing rear gears from 3.08 to 3.70 and would like to ensure I am getting the right speedo gears. The transmission is a 700r4 and the tire height is 27”. Based on this chart I suspect the closet combination is Drive – 15 Gray and Driven - 43 Purple. Can anyone confirm?

dont you first have to determine what color your drive gear is before you can say which driven gear you need? The link shows 3 different colors.

My understanding is due to the low cost it is best to change out in pairs, plus I would like to have the parts on hand when starting.

you intend to disassemble the transmission to replace the drive gear?

Just the tailshaft housing considering the drive shaft will be out for U-joint replacement. Basically I was going to follow these instructions.
