Default Autolite spark plugs

I have a set of autolite spark plugs AP 404. They were given to me by the previous owner of the car. It is a 1969 427 390hp. Any one use these plugs? Would like to know if worth keeping for the next tune up.

Thanks for responding to my question so fast. I am planning on tuning up the car soon, and will use the plugs.

I'd think just about any name brand is pretty good. Believe the Autolite brand was once affiliated with Ford(not a bad thing), but was years back. You never know though, as had a Ford van, and changed the plugs with the exact factory Motocrafts. Thing started misfiring couple weeks later, and hadn't a clue. Turns out one plug was bad, and no way you could tell by looking at it. I just paid the repair money, and moved on. Who would ever think this.

I don't like the basic autolites myself. They paint the threads so they rust much easier than those that are zinc coated like champion, denso, etc...

So if you have a free set then use them but make sure to put some good antiseeze on the threads. If buying plugs there are plenty of better choices IMO.
