Default First 50 mile drive

Put my 74 on the road for the frist time today. Ran in to the implement store for parts for my lawn tractor and it sure was fun running it down the highway for the first time. I bought this first vette a few months ago and it has every problem in the book. You folks have helped me with a few of them and for that I thank you. At least it's running now but I still have a million things to correct. Among the most annoying is that every time I turn on the wipers it kills the engine. I had to disconnect the vaccuum lines or the drivers side headlight pops up and when it's hot the starter won't crank. Still, it's my first Corvette and it gets all those admiring glances. Last nigh I took the wife down to the local drive in and we were the hit of the show. Fortunately, we stayed long enough for it to cool down and it started when we went to leave. I'm rambling, I just wanted to say thanks to all who have answered my questions and helped me get theis old C3 running.

That is so, so cool. My time is coming. After year and half work. Tuesday it goes in for smog. Sounds like you could call the exorcist to get some of those demons out. Happy trails to you.
