Default Help Decode the Phrase: "It won't take grease"

I usually do the oil and grease myself. However, this spring I went to a quick oil change place. I know how a ball joint is designed with zones of contact and zones of no contact to allow grease passage. I was told my lower ball joints won't take grease. I have not heard this phrase before but it sounds reasonable if the contact areas are all worn away and one would not observe grease filling the rubber seal. When I told the technician that the ball joints are less than four years old with less than 2000 miles, the technician also indicated that it may be defective or rusted grease fittings. I replaced the upper and lower ball joints along with all the rubber components in the suspension four years ago. These parts came as a kit from one of the Forum vendors. I just purchased some new grease fittings and I intend to verify that the fittings pass grease. Is it possible that I obtained some defective ball joints? Thanks.

Do you know what brand they are? Moog are still good. Dana are usually OK. Everything else, AFAIK, is crap. Lots of substandard stuff coming in white boxes from China. I've heard of vendors paying less than a dollar for a balljoint.
