Fuel Pump Pressure
I have a reading of a little better than 3 PSI of fuel pressure from my stock replacement fuel pump to my carb at idle. Does this measure up? 1970 L-46 manual.

I'll have to check see what happens if I give the RPMs a shot, I just tested using a gauge that doesn't get left on the car if you know what I mean, so I just looked at it at idle. I'll hook it up again and give the throttle a blip and see what happens. Fuel filter is external and brand new, nice and clean.

Reason I bring it up is that I occasionally have bizarre near-stalling issues if I set my idle at factory spec (750) and go down steeper grades or sometimes at stop lights out of gear / in neutral...also can't run my AC at idle. No hesitation in the throttle though, and my carb is super clean. Been dogged by this for a long time without a solution...low fuel pressure is my current suspect I guess.
