Need help finding thread on tools to fix stripped studs
Awhile back there was a thread about some tools
that clamp over a stud, and then the die is back
out over the stripped threads. It was a kit that ran about
$90. Tried to do a search for it, but can't find it.
Does anyone have the thread or know about the kit I
am talking about??

Not sure about the kit you're talking about, but it sounds interesting. FWIW, I've rethreaded several studs using the dies from a standard Snap -on tap and die set. It's always worked well for me.
