Default Fuel line, spark plug question.

OK, so I'm down to getting fuel line and spark plugs for my set up. I have a solid roller 383 with Q-750 Quick Fuel carb. I was wondering and second guessing my self on the fuel line and spark plug choice I made. I bought 8-an line from pump to carb and was wondering if the 110gph pump would pump enough for that size hose. I also got plugs from summit and told the rep what I had and he recomended a Champion RC12YC. When I got the plugs it said they were for lawnmower small engines on the pakages. Will these plugs be ok? It said racing plugs on the summit site. Thanks for any feed back.

the hose size is plenty big enough so is the pump.make sure you use a regulator on the fuel line before it goes to the carb and set it per carb mfg. specs.usually 6 to 7 psi.as for plugs start with r 45 ts and break in the engine and check the plugs after driving it to see if they are burning ok.make sure the ignition system is up to the task and the battery is fully charged before starting engine.

Which heads, stock...or aftermarket aluminum? RC12YC's are for newer aluminum, R45ts for stock iron heads.

Not sure what heads you are running, but for comparison, I pulled the info for my Brodix aluminum heads -- CHAMPION RN12YC

You are correct, RN12YC. (RC12YC is for lawn mowers or weedwackers).

Heads are dart 220 race heads with 64cc chambers. I checked the jegs site too and they also call them race plugs. They must go in anything. What about fuel line, do you see any problem with running 8-an from pump to carb with 110 gph pump?
