Trying to figure out why the heater motor doesnt work and I don't see a fuse marked "heater motor", would this be considered "HEATER/AC"?
It's located at the top lefthand side of the fuse block. It's a 25 amp buss fuse, and it has power when tested at the fuse (on both sides).
Also, What does this location control; 5 Amp - "INST LPS" - The buss fuse is half the size of a normal fuse loctaed at the lower right hand portion of the fuse block. There is no power when tested with a 12volt test probe. I originally thought it was the dash lights but they work fine. Alarm?
Does anyone have a picture/illustration of a 76 C3 fuse block?
The 5 amp fuse is for the dash lights. Does your dash ights work? Turn the parking lights on then test it. In the engine compartment on right side of the firewall you should see a silver relay. That is the heater/A/C blower motor relay. To check the relay just bypass it without the relay. If it works change the relay.

I think you answered my question - The relay was completely pulled from my car along with most of the AC configuration. Trying to get the heat and fresh air to work w/o the AC with the current fan motor and vacuum configuration. My fan switch is dead too. More to follow
