Does anybody HPDE their C3?
This is my first full year doing HPDE with my C6. I add alot of fun and meet alot of great people doing it. I'm not looking to race but have a track dedicated car. Had my first full off track thrill ride with my DD. So now I'm rethinking should my DD realy be a HPDE toy?
This will let me see if I want to get more into it or not, with minimal $$$ spent. And my 71 doesn't take a beating........

Conversation with insurance company:
"Hi! I would like to make an insurance claim. I totaled my car and another one to boot. It happened at the race track."

It's a blast and I'm totally hooked. You really get the feeling on a road course that you're doing with the C3 what it was made to do. But what other posters have said is 100% true.
You will probably not keep up with most C4/5/6's in the turns. But I can keep up with my buddies stock C6 in the straights because I have a healthy big block. I have been black flagged for spilling fuel in the turns. And my C3 has had to be limped home from the track before (burned up the power steering pump, thrown alternator belts), so this year I bought a Featherlight trailer.
And yes, I'm usually the only C3 out there. But EVERYBODY likes and comes to check out my car! I say go for it. And if you make it down to our track, look me up.
