Default ZZ4's

How many Forum members own a ZZ4? If you have seen my post about Sallee-Chevrolet creating ZZ4 stickers, I am trying to determine how many ZZ4's are here on the forum. If you do own one and would like a ZZ4 sticker please read my post http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=315159 and go to Sallee-Chvrolets discussion board and let them know you are interested.
Thanks
John

I've piped in, but it looks from Sallee's response that the level of interest they'd need before they commit to doing it is way too high.

Mark,
I'll be setting my ZZ4 in my '74 next week.
What air filter assembly are you using?
I want to use the K & N drop base but I don't know what height element to buy.
Thanks,

Ken

I used a k&n 14x3" drop base on my zz4..just barely fits

BTW, im definitely interested in a sticker as long as its "ZZ4" or someting like that, just dont want Sallee-Chevy;s name in it as well making us all advertise for them. I want it to look neat and clean to throw on my air cleaner or valve covers. im going to check out the other post now

Ken, my air cleaner assembly is nothing fancy. It's a 14x3 chrome Mr. Gasket, part no. 9790. I paid Cdn. $49 for it. Hood clearance is no problem.

This is easy to do thanks to computer graphics and vinyl signs on a roll of tape type material....harder if you want varied colors....best done with an airbrush if that's the case....
any graphics place could input and mimick and wrap around anything you want the GM logo....just don't say it's from GM, or they might hesitate....
not expensive at all, but if GM ain't doing it, someone might as well....

I already had some made for my ZZ4. I took off the fender L-82 and replaced it with the Vinyl Graphics. I had them made in Charcoal Gray.

I did not have to have quantities, I could order as many or less as I wanted. I can't remember the web address right off the bat, but will try to find it if you all want.

I think I paid less than 2.00 per graphic and I got to choose the size, font, and color.

I can take a picture of it if anyone wants to see it.

Back when I first got my ZZ4, I found a web page for a company that made custom, die-cast, chromed plastic emblems. I always thought I'd go back to them and have it done for the sides of my hood. Now I've lost the link. I spent a couple of hours looking for it this morning and can't find it. Anyway, they said the art work and set up charges were usually in the $100.00 range and then there was a unit cost per emblem, depending on the quantity. I'll keep looking, but if anybody runs across this company, we might arrange a group purchase.

That sound really cool. Let us know when you find the link. If we get enough people who want one maybe we can all chip in for the $100.00 fee.

I'm interested in Decals/Emblems "ZZ4" if it turns out that we need to go in together to make something happen. Please let me know. Thanks!

BTW, I'd prefer something with a Font similar to the L-82 Emblems.
